I must say that I have never seen anything quite like it. The explosion of color that permeates throughout all of George's works is on a level that is almost impossible to describe. To me this is particularly striking in -Moonlit Dreams-.
What could be considered such a mundane landscape is elevated to a whole new level with the placement of the moon as a surreal counterpoint to the top of the lighthouse. It is hard to believe that this is "merely" a photograph and not something dreamt up by some Sci-Fi writer and produced by a Hollywood special effects crew.
The ability to not only compose a piece of art like this, but then manage the gamma of color, brightness, and depth of field under infinitely challenging lighting conditions, as can be witnessed by the stars still showing in the sky, is second to none. Sublime!
